Privacy Policy

This site is deliberately simple to explain: it sets no cookies, uses no localStorage, embeds no third-party trackers, and loads no resources (fonts included) from a third-party domain.

Data this site processes

Server logs (hosting). This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web server, Cloudflare logs requests — including the visitor's IP address — for a limited retention period, for security and operational purposes (e.g. detecting abuse). Cloudflare acts as our processor for this hosting-level logging; a data processing agreement (DPA) is in place between us and Cloudflare, as required by Art. 28 GDPR.

Analytics: Cloudflare Web Analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see aggregate visit counts and which pages are read. It does not use cookies, does not use localStorage, and does not fingerprint individual visitors — Cloudflare's own privacy documentation describes how it aggregates traffic without tracking a specific person across sites. No consent banner is shown because no cookie or comparable tracking technology under ePrivacy/§25 TTDSG is used.

No other trackers. No advertising pixels, no social-media embeds, no third-party CDNs. Fonts are served from this site itself, not from Google Fonts or any other external font host — a Google Fonts embed transmits the visitor's IP address to Google, a practice found unlawful without consent by German courts (e.g. LG München I, case 3 O 17493/20); this site avoids the issue by not doing it.

Contact form / email. If you email [email protected], we process the contents of that message and your email address to answer you. We do not use it for any other purpose or share it with third parties, except where required by law.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, or restrict processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to object to processing. To exercise any of these rights, or with any other privacy question, contact [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
